Styles

Breakin

Often referred to as “breakdancing” in the media, breakin (or b-boying/b-girling) is a popular style of street dance that is considered one of the original 4 Hip Hop Elements.

House

A dance of the 1980s, house dance originated in Chicago and grew up in New York City.

Popping

Is one of the original funk styles of dance that came out of Fresno, California in the 1970s.

Hip Hop

This class will explore the more recent expressions of Hip Hop dance and the style that has evolved as part of hip-hop culture.

Dance Hall

Dancehall class is open to beginners and experienced dancers and will focus on learning the foundations and movement qualities that go hand in hand with the mainstream and underground Dancehall music of today.

Choreo

Choreo Class is great for anyone with a lot of dance experience. If you are looking for a class to just jump into and start a routine this is perfect for you. Classes are inspired by a variety of styles and each instrcutor has a different take on it.

Locking

Locking is a dance from the 70's that uses a lot of rolls, points, and 'locked' arm positions to showcase a funky characteristic and fun dance style.
